Your brand isn't detected
Last updated [DATE]
We look for the brand name, the other names and the domains listed in your project settings, so an answer that names your brand another way isn't counted until you add that name.
Who can do this: owners and editors change the names. Everyone can check the answers.
Steps
- Find an answer that names your brand but isn't counted. See View the answers behind a number. Mentions we found are highlighted in the Full reply.
- Note how the answer writes your brand: a short name, an old name, another spelling or a domain.
- Open Settings → Brand and website.
- Add it under Other names or Domains. Include short names and old names people still use.
- Select Save changes.
What you should see
"Saved changes apply from the next run." Answers collected after you save use the new names. Answers collected before keep their results.
If it doesn't work
- The answer only describes your product without naming it: we count a brand only when it's named.
- A competitor isn't detected: add its other names and domains in Competitors the same way.
- Your brand name is a common word: contact us with an example answer.
