A project tracks one brand: you add its website, the competitors to compare it with and the prompts buyers type into AI assistants, then Aivting collects the answers.

Who can do this: anyone with an account who can create projects. If someone invited you to their project, you join it instead (see Accept an invite).

    Steps

    1. In the top bar, select New project.
    2. Which website are we tracking? Enter the Brand name and the Website (for example, acme.com). Under Other names, add the names people also use for the brand, such as short names or old names, separated by commas. The Project name defaults to the brand name. Select Continue.
    3. Who do you compete with? Add at least one competitor, up to 10. Select Continue.
    4. What do your buyers ask AI assistants? Write each prompt the way a buyer would type it, for example "best tool to estimate a competitor's website traffic". Select Add a prompt for each one. Your plan sets how many prompts can be active: 20 per project on Solo and Agency Lite, 50 on Agency Pro. See Plans and limits.
    5. Select Create project.

    1. To collect the first answers, select Run now in the project header and keep the page open while the run collects answers. You can also switch on Automatic collection in Settings. Prompts run when you start a run. Automatic daily runs are on our roadmap.

    What you should see

    • Your new project opens and the guided tour starts. You can skip it and restart it later with Take the tour.
    • The dashboard stays empty until the first answers are collected. See No answers yet.

    If it doesn't work

    • "That doesn't look like a website address (example: acme.com)": enter a domain such as acme.com, without spaces.
    • "Add at least one competitor": the project needs one competitor before you can continue.
    • You can change the brand, website and competitors later in Settings. See Edit a project.
