Read your dashboard
Last updated [DATE]
Your project dashboard shows four headline figures, a chart per day, every prompt with its figures, and the sites the answers cite, all for the dates, engines and tags you pick.
Who can do this: everyone with access to the project.
Steps
- Headline figures. The top row shows Visibility, Share of voice, Avg. position and Sentiment. Each shows how many answers or mentions it's based on, for example "12 of 40 answers name Brindlepath". What each one means: Metrics overview.
- Switch the chart. Select a headline box to show that figure in the chart. The chart then shows it for every brand, one point per day.
- Chart. Each point is one day (UTC). Select a day, then See answers from this day. The Notes strip under the chart shows days with a note; see Add a note to the chart. To see how a figure moved, use Compare in the filter bar; see Filter your dashboard.
- Prompts table. One row per active prompt, with its figures for your brand, a search-demand bar (grey for low demand, green for high, no numbers) and Excerpts from answers that name your brand.
- Your site as a source. Compares how often answers name your brand when they cite your website and when they don't. It shows a pattern in the answers, not cause and effect.
- Sources. The sites and pages the answers cite, most cited first. See Find gaps and listicles.

What you should see
- "Active prompts only": removed prompts don't count in any figure.
- Avg. position appears once enough answers name your brand: "Shown once 3 answers name Brindlepath (1 so far)".
- Sentiment shows "Not available yet" on live projects. Where it is available, the box describes it as an average tone score from -100 to +100.
If it doesn't work
- "No answers in this window": widen the date range, or see No answers yet.
- "No prompts match these tags.": clear a tag filter.
- A small sample moves a lot from day to day. Check the "of 40" part of the line under each figure before you read a change as a trend. See Why numbers differ from ChatGPT.
