    Your dashboard fills in after the first run collects answers to your prompts; until then, every figure shows "No answers in this window". Prompts run when you start a run. Automatic daily runs are on our roadmap.

    Who can do this: owners and editors start runs. Viewers can check the steps below and ask an owner or editor.

    Steps

    1. Open the project and select Run now in the project header. If Settings → Automatic collection is on, a scheduled run may already be due; Settings shows the next one.
    2. Keep the page open while the run collects answers. The progress bar shows answers by status.
    3. When the run shows Finished, go back to the project dashboard.
    4. Check the filters: pick a longer date range, and make sure a collected engine is on.
    5. Check that you have active prompts. Removed prompts aren't collected.

    What you should see

    Each run collects a set number of answers per prompt from each collected engine. Each answer gets a status:

    No answer shownThe engine showed no answer (for example, no AI Overview for that search). Not counted, and never counted as "not mentioned".
    FailedWe couldn't collect this answer. Not counted.
    BlockedNot collected because a limit applies: "This engine's spend cap is reached", "This engine is switched off" or "Collection is switched off right now".

    If it doesn't work

    • "Collection paused after repeated errors. Reload the page to resume.": reload the run page.
    • "Couldn't reach the server. Retrying…": check your connection and keep the page open.
    • Settings shows "Collection paused.": a scheduled run couldn't start because collection is switched off or a spend limit applies. The reason is shown next to it. Nothing is lost; contact us if it stays paused.
    • Settings says automatic collection isn't switched on yet: your setting is saved, but nothing runs on its own yet. Use Run now.
    • You see no Run now button: viewers and the demo can't start runs. Ask an owner or editor.
    • Many answers are Failed or Blocked: contact us with the project name and the run date.
    • The demo has no runs: its answers were generated for the demo, not collected.
