    Edit a project

    Last updated [DATE]

You change a project's name, brand, website and category in the project's Settings, under Brand and website.

Who can do this: owners and editors. Viewers see "Your role in this project can't change this. Ask a project owner."

    Steps

    1. Open the project and select Settings in the project header.
    2. In Brand and website, change any of these:
      • Project name
      • Brand name
      • Other names: short names, old names and spellings people still use. We look for every name you list.
      • Domains and Website: the brand's own sites.
      • Category: what you sell, in a few words, like "SEO software". Prompt suggestions use it.
    3. Select Save changes.

    What you should see

"Saved changes apply from the next run." Answers collected before the change keep their results; new names and domains count only in answers collected after you save.

    If it doesn't work

    • The fields are greyed out: your role can't edit this project. Ask a project owner.
    • The demo can't be edited: "The demo is read-only."
